Power On/Off

PAGE IN PROGRESS
What you see here is a page of my hypertext book POWER of meanings // MEANINGS of power. Initially empty, this page will slowly be filled with thoughts, notes, and quotes. One day, I will use them to write a coherent entry, similar to these completed pages. See this post to better understand my creative process. Thank you for your interest and patience!
Having power equal being alive and vs. versa. We strive to have power, to be in control. Otherwise we are as good as dead.

We want to have and use power both as an ability and as influence.

Not being able to do something is seen as a limitation.
Not being able to have an impact is seen as a limitation.

Having our power “on” means either having/using an ability or having/using out influence.
